Hey guys,

Did some rooting around in the forum, and I understand the speakers up front are 10cm (4"), but I couldn't find the mounting depth?

Does anyone know the depth off hand?

Cheersm

Tom

The depth does not really matter, your not really gona find a 10cm speaker that deep anyway.

you need to worry about the front, Std Cinquecento speakers are flat (not 2way) so if you fit say a set of Alpine 2 way speakers for example, you will have a hard time getting the grill back on.

good luck.

On my sei, i had to cut parts of the airvents behind the dash out. They also lightly touch the bulkhead sound damping, so I'm sure there are some that don't fit at all.

Don't know the depth im afraid though.

ahh soz, I'm thinking of Cinquecento.

Yea, I have a Cinquecento btw - apologies for not being specific...

Two way ones tend to be better than flat jobs...can anyone post up links for a decent set (90W RMS would be awesome...) 2 way / flat that would fit?

Thanks guys

i have 4 inch kenwood co - axiels at the front where the originals where. looking at it you would believe the original speakers were still there. all you need to do is get longer screws for the standard grill covers. the standard cover will protude a little but you wouldn't really notice it.

ricky

I got 10cm Alpine E Types in mine, I had to put them in upside down and have them screwed as if libbed behind the mounting holes to allow enough clearance for the grill to go back on.

i have some kenwood 4" and mine fitted fine. only used two out of the four mounting spots. and with some heafty manovering they fitted fine. mabee i was lucky??

Most "normal" co-axial units work fine. Things that you'd find on theloudest.com prob wont fit on though.
