Hi all,

I want to change the coolant on my Cinq Sporting and give it a good flush, but Ive noticed that the bleed screw on the heater hose isnt there?

It looks as though its been snapped off at some point and the hole filled with a resin sealant or something???

Am I OK to flush and bleed the system using the 1 remaining bleed screw (from the rad I hink?) or might I have problems and need to replace the heater hose as well?

Cheers.

Drill the sealant out and whack a larger metal screw in there.

(not that i've ever snapped the top of one off before!)

snapper here too lol.

Try get the sealant out of the hole, if it comes out cleanly i've found that quite a few cars have similar item that will fit. In fact i noticed the one on my escort looks like it will fit only yesterday. If it messes up the thread then just use a biggy screw as mentioned, theres no need for a new pipe
