Hi

My fuse keeps blowing everytime i put anything in my cig lighter... I have just put a new headunit in but it blows even when it is off.

Obviously the head works on a different fuse circuit to the heaters and 12v... any ideas?

i would look to the rear where you have ben working on the HU
most likely you disloged a wire and its shorting out. did you have to change any wiring?
nothing extra like neons wired in?

Did not change anything... just run RF and remote leads from HU to rear...

Its possible you've picked up a cable on the cage when you've put the new unit.

Was messing about with it earlier.. when the HU is connected but out of the cage its fine... but when it goes back in it blow...
would some insulation tape solve it?

Could do, as long as you find the short.
