Will the GT brake upgrade squeeze under standard 13" sporting wheels or no way not a chance ever ever? They're only 17mm bigger so I thought they might just squeeze in.

Hmmm I thought the ET was higher than that on tempra wheels? I'll certainly look into it.
There's nothing wrong with 240mm discs if you use the right callipers, which is why I'm planning to use willwood 4 pot callipers with pads that are marginally bigger than late PGT pads .As i've said before and most UT owners will agree...
