I need to remove a "dumped" old cinquecento from my drive. I have no key but the car is unlocked. Does anyone know how to disable the steering lock --the car keeps going into the side of the drive!!!!???

Or (idea 2!!) does anyone know how to get a key cut it is M reg?

too disable the steering lock you need too remove the lock barrel however you need the key too do that :D
so i duno, smash the lock barrel housing off?

Could try the old scaffold pole in between the steering wheel spokes and push bloody hard trick!! Only ever done this once before and i ended up on the passenger seat pushing with my legs till the lock snapped!!

take off the bottom cover of stearing colum so you can see lock, you will see 2 bolts that are all round, get a hacksaw blade and turb the heads into screws but sawing slots in them, then undo with a screw driver;)

OK, if its an M reg, there will be no extra immobiliser circuitry. Im sure a good locksmith could either cut a key from yure locks, or rejig yure locks to fit new keys.

Probably wont be too cheap!

If you cant get the steering lock off how about jacking the front up and dropping it at the right angle to get it off your drive.
