It's not cheap....i.e. more than the value of your car in most cases.

cheap leather interior, funny.either pay for a full retrim ££££££££,find leather front seats in the scrappys and get the rears trimmed to match .to cut costs you can trim it in PVC or forget leather and buy some sporty front seats

Leather isnt cheap at the best of times,

Could always do seat covers, I think thats what Rich (Rich_2003) has.

You would find it VERY difficult to do a decent job, and I mean VERY difficult. Try retrimming a basic office chair in something much more flexible and it's still not easy.

IMO, leather only looks right in the right cars, i.e. it looks weird and odd in a small low cost car but it a nice expensive car would look wrong without it. That's just because that's what we're used to I guess!

My dads an upholsterer and did my leather interior, costs bout £900 to £1k he said.

If you trimmed it in vinyl/PVC you wouldnt get the nice leathery smell :D

The leather costs bout £150 per skin and would take 2 skins for a small car if you wanted to try to do it yourself.

www.yarwood.co.uk is his supplier

I had mine done in vinyl.. if you pick out the vinyl that has a leathery grain you can get a decent leather look. Everyone that saw my interior was convinced it was leather. It only cost 350 for the seats and door cards and they made a really good job. They quoted about 800 for leather.

I had it done professionally, so they got the material in.. but i know the brochure / company that the vinyl was made by was called Harbour.. i cant help any more than that. The place that did the work was A R Pound in Bedford. The only thing i can suggest is if you were to go to a retrimmers and ask for an off cut of something they have in stock.. i imagine you'd be able to get them to sell you some.
