Just bought a 96 Broom Yellow. Had tons of Fiats over the years but never a Cinq Sporting so just looking for a few tips please.
Very impressed with the car, feels nice and together,no nasty rattles or bumps and came with a decent service history.
But she doesn't seem to be pulling quite as crisply as I'd expect, little bit hesitant when accellerating especially up hills and feels like there's more power there to be had but its not delivering it. Tickover seems smooth enough, but it does miss a beat before revving if i blip the throttle from tickover
I've done the basics, cleaned and gapped plugs(checked they're right ones and they are), air filters nearly new, I've changed the map sensor(the little square box under the ECU with a 3cable electrical plug and a vacuum pipe)with a spare I had.
Just wondered if this is a common problem with an easy fix and I just need a little help in the right direction.
Engine seems fine in its own right, no signs of oil burning or water in oil etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
