[8D]HeHe!! been fettling with the car again after my ordeal with the alternator.

I've managed to fabricate a bonnet lifter to replace the bonnet prop that holds it up. Basically just "pop" the bonnet, lift it slightly, and the strut does the rest!

dude that is awesome, well fancy one of them, want some for the boot as well tho! how did u make it? fancy doin a DIY guide?

What is it like when you shut it?
Does the bonnet not give resistance when you drop it, bout 12", to shut it?
Its a quality job , ive always wanted to do it on my Uno but thought that might be the case when i shut it.

p.s. is it a tailgate lifter from a cinq that youve used?
