this is my wifes car just went to check warning light doesnt light on start i take it its betwen oil and battery light.were is the big fuse as with nothing working im hoping for that.Was only one woman owner used for church on sunday 25000 miles so imagine bulb will be there.

Jeeez,that engine wont even be run in yet

The fan fuse is NOT related to the waring light afaik, but im not 100% on spi.

On the MPI the fan is controlled by the ECU. I think there is a sensor on the rad, though.

First, check the fan motor works.

BTW,

1. You can't put up a link to your own hard drive (how could that work?)
2. You'll get more responses if you start your own thread rather than tagging onto someone elses.

One sensor, back of the head, on the end of the plastic intake. Green sensor.


Tells the ECU the temp, and the ECU switches a relay to power the fan. There is no sensor in the rad at all.

Could possibly be the core plug next to the water pump that rusted through on mine, replaced water pump and then saw that it was the core plug, cost 1.50 to replace and now running great.

Plus just adding water(not antifreeze) will rust coreplugs after time.
