im looking to buy a 1242cc engine out of a punto, but i need to no weather i need to change all the wireing and ECU and so on to drop it into my 1.1 cinquecento ?

Looks like a Punto 60. If so, you'll be fine. Use the Cinq alternator. I'd put on a newq clutch and change the cam and cam cover oil seals while you're at it.
