Hi all; well have had a little problem with my cinq. 800 miles after the conversion the lambda sensor has given out which has prompted me to sort out the fuelling issue.

I believe the car runs rich top end which is why I believe that the final fast run I did killed the sensor so am looking for a place in the West midlands that knows how to set up a low boost turbo cinq using the Van Aarken equivalent of an Aquamist MF2 injection controller.

You sure it's not an ordinary MF2? Anyway, Chris from 1320 Autos has a lot of experience setting these up, although it's not really the West Midlands, but nearer Silverstone. If you want real, black country, West Midlands, you could try Aldon Automotive. A Google will find them.

Sorry yeah just updated it he he, arc was right before. Moved to Worcester a couple of months ago. Was just a boggo lambda that gave out but it hasn't been changed in the life of the car so 10 years is ok going I guess.

It might have gone via natural causes though knowing turbos and the crude fuelling system it was probably clogged out. Even so, the occasional whiffs of petrol hint at occasionally running rich and it needs to be done properly anyway (I’ve already checked fuel lines and it’s not them).

When I made the kit I had a friend come and give it a reasonable tune up. He had a proper battery backup wide-band lambda which we plugged into a 2nd port I had put into my new downpipe and just mapped it roughly by driving around in a variety of conditions but it's not perfect.

Have noticed on motorways for instance it can sometimes hold back on acceleration and I need to dabble the throttle to make it wake up so it is also running lean at times.

As said Jamie hi-boost Seicento and Emma & I with her 1.4 16V Seicento will be going over to Chris 1320 Autos on Mon at about 11am to do some power runs and checking the settings of the MF2 on Jamies car, plus check over all the settings on the Emerald on Emma's car now that it is properly run in, plus have some fun at the same time & you are more than welcome to come along.

PM me for more details, phone number etc, if you would like to come along. I would recommend that the fuelling is done ASAP as it will only lead to many other issues.

Aaron.

Likewise to your's, mine isn't really an MF2. It's based on one but was built by Van Aaken and branded as a TFC1 and has a built in 2nd Lambda sensor. I’ll enquire with 1320Autos and see if they can fit me in with you :) .
