Just started tonight on way home. Happens a very low speed, slowing down...around 10mph (and without brakes). Any clues? Happened when i was in a straight line. Not whilst turning. It was then fine when coming back from Tescos.
(I had new 20mm lowering springs and new shocks fitted a year ago).

Jack one corner up at a time and rotate each wheel until you find the one thats squeeking.

Could be pad wear, bearing wear, stone in the caliper, many things.

could be a stone etc. Drove my usual 4 miles to work this morning and not a sound. Weird ! Hey, thats cars though !!

OK, when were the brakes last checked?

all pads and shoes were all renewed 20 months ago. Do around 5000 miles a year
