Had a good search, sure Cust will pop up with a list of thread I've missed, but here goes...

The fact that the wipers don't wipe when i wash the front screen is really starting to annoy me. It makes me want to stamp on small kittens :bang:

So, has anyone made a modification for this? If so how? and if no-one has, does anyone know where to start? If i get it done I'll be more than happy to take pictures of the process and do a little bit of a write up.

they dont wash/wipe.you spray then wipe.
im sure you can buy kits but TBH wash/wipes annoy me when you forget you have no fluid or the jets are blocked

I agree with Custard, when I drive cars that wipe as soon as you squirt, it annoys the hell out of me and wish it worlked like the cinq does.

As for a modification, how hard is it to pull your right hand in one inch and down one inch at the same time?

Its far easier to pull back and release the switch , and watch the screen get washed and wiped about 3 times, than pulling it back, then pushing it down for a few seconds, then pulling it back up, or alternatively holding the stalk up.

Looks like I'm on my own on this one then...

you are indeed alone, i hate the way cars wipe when you spray, wipe additional times for dribbles that half the time aren't there, presume you put the screen blowers on so you want full blast and max heat to clear th mist that isnt there...i just like it that way.

Sorry, a weekend with the panda has done my nut in lol.

yeah, you're alone on this one.

i dont mind it on a car with plenty good strong washer jets.
however without them it can be a pain.
especially those painfull dry wipes after nothing has squirted.

im sure someone will sig that

I can say i can't relate to any of the problems your describing?

Another thing that is now really starting to bother me is the fact that when i wash the front windscreen it comes out the back too! This is madness! My back windows clean, so now when i wash the front ive got to put the front wipers on and off, then put the rear wiper on and off...

I can see this getting compliacted....

Thats because your car has seperate wash and wipe.

If its coming out the back, something is amiss. Check the wiring for the motors hasn't been spliced together, or that one motor is dead and the other has two pipes coming from it.

faulty motor.

on the MPI there is a single pump/motor for both screens. It spins one way for the front and the other way for the back. If its coming out of both at the same time then it is faulty.

mine did it for a while and then corrected itself lol

now its dewipered so not an issue at all
