here is some more of the progress pictures from the camera.
as you can see in these pictures i had cut all of the rears of the dash out to allow access to the insides of the parts that were being fiberglassed.
gazzaman2k has decided that he wants to fit a fuse box in the document section at the bottom of the dash. what i did here was smoothed the front of the dash over so it now non existent. The fusebox will now sit inside the back of that section.
I also fiberglassed over the section beside the steering wheel, gazzaman2k wanted to fit guages into this section like i have done to mine, he also wanted to have 2 guages in the center vent.
the screen was to be fitted into the big "baby changing" section on the left. in order to achieve this i made a wooden surround for the screen and routered the edges so they were round and when it was fiberglassed it didnt have any square edges.
It is a shame that the screen had buttons on the front at the bottom because it meant when i fibergalssed it the screen couldnt be flush with the front fiberglassed edge. so i have made it so the screen sits on the outside of the fiberglass.
the dash looks amazing and is now being flocked. Being a twit i didnt take any photos when when it had been stopper pasted but here are some pictures of the process right up to that point.
I hope you enjoy
and most importantly gazzaman2k
