that wont fit im affraid. well, it will if you have it coming out of the bumper at an angle (which looks daft and wouldnt fit ur abarth one). Right behind the hold on the bumper is the rear arm and shocks so u cant get a backbox directly behind it although you can with a bit of pipe that bends to the left (like the standard zorst).

Tuning exhausts is an art in itself - you need to know an awful lot about swept volumes, primary and secondary pipe lengths, optimum rev range and overall length and volume of the exhaust system. Makes a noticeable difference on a performance car (in the same way that well calculated Ram pipes do) but not for the faint hearted or those who failed Maths A level.

Aren't these 'tunable' exhausts only referring to the sound they produce?! You move some sort of internal slider to adjust the resonance sound they produce, any extra power you get is purely luck!

Cinquecento............Its not the size its how you use it!

Yeah, sort of. The sound is due to airflow, and tuning the airflow means the response of the engine and the exhaust sound will be altered.

Its all to do with varying the silencer and whole zorst system volume to match the engine

Its a black art tuning exhausts, but if you think about it a wee bit, each cylinder issues a pulse of exhaust. When deciding on the length of the primary pipes the pulse time against the size of the bore is calculated, and then when it gets to a collector, be it 4-2-1 or 4-1, the previous pulse can cause a vacumn in the pipe after the valve closes which the next pulse will fill. That small vacumn can help speed up the gases leaving the second cylinder and so on.

What noise it makes in neither here nor there.

Cheers
