heyho

bought a black light for the inside today only to find that it doesnt work, it could be the light but by the look of the state of my cig lighter it could be that (previous owner smoked grr) any one had this prob and know if theres a standard replacement for the inside bit not the actual lighter.

check the the connections are still connected. maybe a solder iron will do the trick if they aint. mine doesnt work due to some rather crazy wiring the previous owner did so i took alot of it out and the cig lighter doesnt work no more...

why not wire it into a switch which runs off of the radio circuit? wont have wires hanging out of the tray

Always worth looking in scrapyards for an unused lighter socket it makes a big difference.

I have major issues with my cig lighter in the SX. I don't smoke but it's one of those annoying things that really gets to me. Took me ages to try fixing it. In the end I just gave up and sold the car
