hi there wonder if anyone can help. I have a fiat cinquecento m reg 899cc which has no spark on one cylinder, i tryed new leads and plugs, but no difference, if i swap over the coil leads ( small wires from ecu ) the problem swaps to other cylinder. someone told me it could be the ecu? i have found many ecu's at scapyards but dont have exactly the same numbers on them. have found one on ebay that is nearly the same. can anyone help please.

so on the ecu's do all the no have to match? will it need to be reprogramed or can i fit it straight in

Most of the numbers need to match, but you need to ensure that you get a non immobiliser one. They are marked as such.
