As some of you have seen i am building a Cinquecento with a Uno 1.4 Turbo engine running around 150-160bhp then with some NOS ontop.

Just wanted to know what is the fastest 1/4 mile ever run by a cinquecento?

I ran a pretty much standard Cinq sporting on the 1/4 mile at York and my fastest time was 18.1 seconds. Only mods were fully stripped interior and an induction kit. Could have got into the 17s I think but my reaction time was pretty ****e that day and waits between runs was like an hour so only did a few. That was the quickest.

Alexs 1.1 Turbo cinq ran 16.7 (i think) at santa Pod. Could have gone faster I believe. Plus he later converted it to a 1.2 high boost so could have easily gone ALOT faster!

For reference though, My MK1 Uno Turbo ran along side alex at pod and ran 16.4. Massive wheel spinnage off the line though due to crap tyres so could have easily run a high 15 imo.

There's a lad on Cento Rebels who has a Sei turbo and runs consistently 15.5sec 1/4miles at Santa Pod with terminal speed's of between 86-90mph. He had it rolling roaded last week and it made 115bhp but was showing that it was running very lean at higher end of rev range, maybe with a better fuelling set up it would be quicker but shows what can be done with only modest power.

TBH I'm surprised that there have been no Cento's in UK breaking into high 14's as Lancia Y10 turbo were running times like that some 10years ago and they started life with a modest 85bhp from a 1050cc 8V.

Here's a copy of one of his earlier runs;
reaction time 0.4648, 60ft was 2.6010, 330ft was 6.6652, 1/8 et was 10.0490, 1/8 mph was 72.13mph 1000 et was 12.9203 1/4mile was 15.5238 1/4mile was 88.9mph

So is this the one which you have just posted Videos off?
I was woundering what times it was running :D

lets see how i get on, aslong as i keep an eye on the wide band when pooring in the NOS i should be able to run around 50-75bhp jets.

Would like to get into the 14's, a standard 2lt 16v Corsa can do a 15.0 an they are boring now i have built/owned 100's :lol:
