Its a pro job really mate.... can be pretty dangerous too! best off getting someone like autowindscreen or someone out. You need specialist tools too so that you can cut through the bonding and then reposition the screen. Plus, if the new one doesn't bond properly, its the only thing that protects you from things flying towards you at 80mph!!
A Cinq doesn't have a bonded screen, rubber seal job.
Yes you can do it yourself, though the last time I had one done it cost me 90 quid, deliver, remove, dispose, re fit. If the windscreen guy breaks the new screen he buys another one, if you break it......
Does that mean that the windscreen people shouldn't have put a load of rubbery/gluey around my new Sei windscreen? I can see the stuff inside at the edges and it looks a bit horrible, I thought it must be normal, did they get it wrong?
