General 16v sei and cinq strut brace, will it fit?

I don't like the mpi one, the sparco is def a no go, so i checked by sight and thought it would go in....just tried and it fouls the air inlet, it would need to be about 3-4 cm further back.

So now i either sell it, and get an mpi again, cut and weld it, or hold on until I ITB it :devil: :slayer:

I wouldve thought a bodged effort would reduce the performance of the strut brace?

Probably no more weakening than the 100 bends in the mpi brace.

I am tempted to just make my own, or get someone to make one, but after splashing out the 50 pounds, I'd rather make do with what i've got for now.

May even tempt me to buy a welder, I've been wanting for ages lol
