Hi,
I'm looking to lower my car by about 40mm. At the moment I have the sports suspension that came with the car... a Fiat extra.. apparently they lower the car already... If I buy some lowered springs will these be lower than the ones on there now? I'm a bit confused [?]

Thanks

the sporting sits 10mm lower than the standard SX and S, buying new sports springs will still lower your car substantially

Thanks... So if it's lower than that... I take it lowering springs wont do a lot then?

Ok. I'll might phone Fiat tomorrow to see what the say about the springs... How much they lowered the car. Then I'll be looking for a good price for s set.

I used Eibach lowering springs and the result was front: 50mm, back 30mm.

see: http://www.tha-bass.com/mp3/cinq/index.htm for pictures.

i lowered mine 40 on Pi springs only.. and it looks alot better
i didnt think it'd do much for the looks but it did, eally subtle looking too, and the handling is amazin!
its rattly tho.. im not sure if lowered cars are supposed to make the noises mine makes.. but i cant see it making it thru the MOT :(
