Ive got a December 2001,"51" Reg Seicento Sporting Abarth with only 15,000 miles on the clock, its in excellent condition,i need to sell it due to redundancy,i cant seem to sell it,what is it realisticly worth?i started at £3500,then dropped it to £2999,now its down to £2800!,
has anyone sold a similar car?if so,how much did it fetch?
any advice would be greatly appreciated
Bill

my mate got his 99 Seicento Abarth for £1500, but i think that was a little cheaper than they normally go for, and that is 2 years older with more miles and the old SPI unit, i assume urs is the MPI

The guide doesn't show any extra for the Abarth bits, but a Sporting with 32K has a dealers retail value @£3300 and a trade in value of £2375.

£3500 was a bit spensive, think £2500 would be closer for private sale.

You are right, its not a lot of money for a 2.5 year old car, but when you consider all the 'marketing' you get with a new one, free insurance, free money, free servicing etc, well, we all know it aint free, so what is the true value of a new car, and start the depreciation from that point.
