Hello.

I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question but I wasn't sure where to ask and I know very little about what the hell I'm doing.

I've got a 899cc 1994 cinq. Just recently the speedo has been making a ticking noise. The speedo has a little bounce to it and the ticking is sychronized with it.

From a rough guess is it the speedo cable? How easy is it to do/fix? How much would you think for a repair?

Ideas? Getting rather annoying

most likly dying inside the speedo cable sleeving.
replacement cable should clear it

OK, nice one. How much is a new cable? Any idea where I can find instructions how to do this kind of thing?

a haynes manual.its not technical but ensure you get the right cable type

make sure you put some greese on the cable before fitting as this will make sure it doesnt tick for a good while did the same thing in my old uno and cinq sporting.
