after discovering a big loss of coolant yesterday before Stanford, I suspected the worst and though I was jinxed with HG fail again, though f88k it, and drove there anyway.
turns out my cooling pipe had split and was pissing water all over the rear of the engine.
I have a ride tomo to work and to deliver my wheels I sold on ebay, so i want to be back on the road but obviously no places are open now.
Who knows what the pipe from the heater matrix feed/exit is for, back to the expansion?
Is it to release pressure if the heater is on or off?
I'm looking for some way to cap both the ends, so i can drive, but last thing i want is to do more damage!
At the moment the reservoir is empty
To make matters worse, FIAT, in all their wisdom, decided that both ends of the pipe have a different ID
