General Sei mpi gsr induction

I gave up in the end, they were in production, and had many calls with peter, until he actaully said he was going to pop in and drop it off on the way back from a show. A night waiting in, and not turning up, and never hearing from him again, I gave up.

Now I have a different engine so of no use anyway, I thought the K&N was a good pice of kit tbh though.

oi stop it :nono: yous just winding me up arnt you?

i bought the K&N off kritip when he changed engine. from what ive noticed its smoothed the idle and acceleration. as for HP i havent noticed anything but i wouldnt with 15s and everything else been standard. gives a nice sound under acceleration too.

Ever compared K&N and stock mpi intake Dave? Ever driven an mpi Sei? Ever seen any RR data to say its carp?

It has a cold feed and although on the TB (ie warmer), lets a lot more air in.

It gives a nice sound and, EVEN if psychological, seems quicker, which, whatever way you look at it is a good thing (y)

I can see the classic induction argument developing here,

'the K&N is poo'
'the gsr is better, yours suck in hot air'
'prove it'
'ermmmm:confused: '

bla bla bla bla we all know the story.

even if some are better, not everybody can afford the prices

I havn't a complaint for any that ive tried...the K&N,GSR,Novitec carbon,panel filter

I bought one of those ebay ones but it won't fit if you've got ABS (not happy). Not bad kit for the money. You can wrap the alloy pipe with fibreglass and cover in foil tape to keep the heat out.

stick it in classifieds then :)

Bought 2 extra 90's and 3 straight couplers as well in the hope of resurrecting the oringinal intention, but the thought of molesting such a nice piece of kit with a hacksaw is daunting.
I may one day find a use for it????????????
