Need some help. I know too get my sporting gear nob off i have too hack saw it down the centre. I was also told on this site that i would need an omp adaptor located here http://www.ompracing.it/detail.html?productcode=OD/1111 because i had a push down reverse. It seems though on the site i can only use omp gear nobs with it and i want a momo one. Has anyone used this adaptor too fit another make of nob.
P.S Pardon the frequent use of nob referal.

yeah the omp adapter fits omb knobs and some other makes but most are too narrow.you can bodge an adapter using pipe or as i did just cut down the shaft and fit the knob directly to the shaft,only thing is you have to push down slightly on the shaft to select reverse.if you do a search this was covered in more detail on a thread under something like omp adapter
