ok so my shockers have been fitted nicely and such, even managed to find some gators at short niotice for em too. however im having a bit of a problem on the handbrake and rear brake adjustments.

My car failed its MOT on them but the rear brakes have plenty of time left so it seems they need adjusting. i looked at the how to guide but its for a seicento and i think the cinquecento is slightly different in terms of how it works...anway it was a bit hit and miss so atm its back to how it started but has anyone ever had this problem or know how the mechanism for the cento works??

if it helps in the next few days i can get the car to a gfarage where it can be put on a ramp etc...to make things a whole lot easier than just jacking it up :p.

Mk1 Sei's use a lock threaded rod with two bolts you tighten against a cradle for the handbrake cable, this pulls handbrake cable tigher.

And In fact I wrote a guide

yeah read your guide :p found it fairly helpful actually. just seems a lil different under my car. oh well tis up on a ramp tomorrow so it should help it as i can get places so much easier.

it just seems odd theres nothin on the rear drum nbrakes for adjustment at all. doe sit all have to be done via the parking brake?

yeah finally done, it was up on a ramp for 2 hours and it was parts had seized up die to rst lol. they're all ok now and witha new cable my handbrake feels like a handbrake again and it does lock the wheels up properly now :D:D

im happy now, just need the new springs and ill be super happy. i swear if i ver get a newer car itl be a seicento lol. i love these lil machines
