sorry about the bad pun but yes my q is to do with lighting lol

on my cinqi the clock doesnt light up and the one below it doesnt light up, (the one to slect the open vent etc)

what could be the prob? just blown bulbs and coincidence that they're next to each other? or do these run off the same fuse as each other?

Could be a coincedence, but its likely to be an easy fix either way. Arc just replaced the bulb in his clock, but then he has the whole of his dash off atm anywhoo. I can imagine it would be bulbs, would see silly to have just 2 little lights running on one fuse.

Well, My clock works, but she aint illuminated, seems to coincide with the time I took it out and dropped it...Id say blown bulb.

The wiring to the lights in the clock and heater panel is notorious for developing faults. Pop the dash off and check the wiring - with the lights on the clock bulb might flash if you wiggle the wiring and this will direct you to the fault. I have two Cinqs and both developed bad connections which required the dash to come off. Either way with the dash off it is easy to stick fresh bulbs in. I found that if you 'thump' the dash, the clock light flashed and I knew it wasn't the bulb.....

They all run off the same fuse and share the same wiring.

Good luck,

David

i have the same problem, went to a scrap yard today, and i got a new one while i was there, is it coincidence that neither of them work?

like above, the clock work's fine it's just theyre's no back light?
