hi all ive got 2000 sei, my clutch cable went a few months ago, and while it was off the road 4 a few days ive been drivin other cars,
nw the clutch pedel is very stiff is this normal.

If I were you I'd go to Fiat and buy a new clutch cable.... they go stiff and then snap....

Their only about £17

The other side to the coin is that the clutch goes heavy as it wears, leading to snapped clutch cable.

Third choice, is seized bushes in the clutch fork. Penetrating oil can help here, but to check, remove the cable from the bellhousing end and try to move the arm. It won't move far but you should feel a movement.

Cheers

Does the car have a servo? (pedal hard and soft post)

If so may be servo not playing from time to time?

Is the car a Cinque Lauren?

Plenty Cinque fans in here to help. :)
