right, im building the 1242 up now and hopefully it should be ready to go in within the next 2 week.
ill be using a new clutch on the new engine but was wondering what is the biggest clutch i can use?
are the 1.2 and 1.4 16v clutch & flywheel a direct replacement for the standard ones?

is the punto turbo one any good?

cheers
scott

I run the Stilo 1.4 16v clutch in my turbo cinq it is 200mm and is a direct replacement for the cinq/sei clutch which is 180mm.
The clutch is bigger and stronger and needs nothing doing to it to fit in the cento gearbox.
Of course to fit this clutch the matching flywheel and clutch pressure plate is also needed.

emma.

sounds good then, so all ill need is the 1.4 16v flywheel and a clutch for a 1.4 16v stilo. do you know if the release bearing is the same as the cinq one? if i is ill just order a clutch kit so i get everything
is that engine only used in stilo's then?
