This is a truly ancient thread!

It's now pretty much established that he way to go with engines punching out a lot of torque (especially the high boost turbos) is to fit the flywheel and clutch from a Panda 100hp etc. That is, the clutch and flywheel from the 1.4 16v SuperFIRE engine.

Otherwise, nothing has changed!

Just as an update on where we are, Brian and I decided that the best way forward was to fit the Stilo Flywheel and clutch complete. We didn't want to say anything until we were happy that it all worked, but having run Julio for over a year now on the modification we can safely say that the conversion works very well, and we've had no problems whatsoever.
