New to this but do work on cars. Was wondering if anyone has changed one as the one we have in is leaking and needs done.

as far as i know easiest way to remove it is to very lightly screw a couple of small screws into it and then pull it out.

new one simply slides in with a few whacks from a suitable drift.

Wouldn't it require the removal of the timing belt, alternator pulley, crank pulley etc.?

Not a quick job tbh, never done it myself though.

yeah, or the gearbox, clutch and flywheel if its the other side.

It's the timing belt side. The belt etc does have to be removed but I was just wondering if the seal was an easy out job like others I've done.
