Any tips for improving the FM reception on a Cinq?

Radio just scans and scans and will pick up radio one if you're lucky...

Oh, decent headunit in there.

Is the aerial ok? Not loose or anything?

Check the aerial connection in the roof. You might just be relying on the cable up the pillar at the moment.

^^^ As in pull the roof lining out?

IIRC removing the interior mirror should give you a view at it, if not remove the sun visors and carefully lower the headcloth.

Always like to follow up thread. Pulled mirror and visors off. Uncliped rubber strip and found the areial. Was all connected. Tried a poke and wiggle and it got better. Worked out which position worked best and wedged some foam up there to hold the wire in said position.

Bolt it all back together and the radio picks up all the stations i could ever want. Even gets that extra scrolling information. :slayer:

I've only had a mono output of radio one for 18months! Easily pleased.
