My brothers cinq is loosing fuel. luckily i saw the patch on the drive. Managed too sourse the fuel leek too the white fuel pump on top of the fuel tank. Only leeks when th fuel pump is running. Seems too be coming from under the two little rubber pipes. Anyone had the same problem? How do i solve it? Does it mean a new pump?

I had leaking problems, had to have a new fuel filler pipe etc, your problem sounds different though.
Cinqis are know to have fuel tank problems tho, there was a huge recall of cars because of it.

from what i've read from previous posts, it could be the fuel pump gasket, has anyone replaced one of these? is it a garage job, or is it easy to do on your own?
my brother has been worried about driving the car to a garage because of the electrics going into the fuel pump, and the fuel leaking out?
