do janspeed still do a back box for a cinq sporting? the twin upswept one?

are they / were they any good? sound level good?


I like the look of them on the car, plus the pipes arent too big

I did, that exhaust was nice, noisy when you gave it some but a respectable purr when pootling along.

Think they are all 2nd hand the upswept kind these days, there are SS so should be fine though.

Nope, they all weren't stainless - I have a mild steel one in the shed.

But you'd be silly to get a MS one.

yep dont get a mild steel one, i've had a janspeed mild steel system and i loved the sound, a rumble when idling but not too noisy and good performance gains.

but after 2years and 30,000 miles the end trim has snapped off!, wish i forked out for a SS one now!

would buy another one tho,

Yea i've heard about the twin upswepts snapping off :S
the janspeed systems themselves are very good tho in SS i have the oval type too used to make a lovely rasp when coupled with the janspeed manifold and de-cat.
Might be selling my cat back section at some point if anyone was interested
