I'm confused.. used to think all cinqs had headlight adjustors until i looked for them in mine. I cant find the controls for them anywhere in the car, yet the headlight units themselves have the adjustors on the back of them. They are def there, yet no way of controlling them.

Was it an optial extra, and the only bit that differed was an extra swtich in the car? Or is my car weird.. either way, i have the adjustors and wish to use them.. what would i need to wire them up..

Optional on most models, some later models have them as standard. The looms seem to include the plugs for them

i dont get why the adjustor units are on my lights tho, if there is no control on the dash.

I'm wondering if i just get the control bit from a scrapped cinq/sei - and wire it in.. it should work

Electric adjuster units built in? Maybe Fiat had only that type of light left when they built yours, or possible they've been changed?

My cinq, 899, base model only has adjusters on the headlights themselves, so i got to go under the bonnet to adjust the head lights!

cant see why u want, it ive never touched the one in mine just an extra thing on the dash to me lol

They come in handy on the motorway with a heavy load, ur lights can end up pointin in completly the wrong place

I use mine frequently. I have brighter bulbs in than standard and i used to keep getting "flashed" by people cos they thought i had full beams on. So i have em permenantly rolled down a notch now, cept for on roads without street lights.

had a look tonight, one is a manual adjustor and the other has an electronic adjustor wired into the loom.

checked in haynes, and it says that the headlight adjustors on cinqs are hyrdraulic - not electrical, im confused now

Some 899's had the fluid filled hydraulic system, later ones had the electric adjusters. Hydraulic ones won't fit on a sporting, hence me looking for a new driver's side headlightB)

i think its had one replaced, because they're not both fitted with electronic adjustors, however one is definetly wired into the loom.

i took some pics today, il post them up tomorrow
