Re: How to replace the rear arm bushes

sweet!

love the paint job under the car!

i think the real trick is to try n get it done without getting the trailing arm out from under the car.. so leave the damper bolt in and let the arm hang off it while you do the bushes..

what milage did yours wear out at? im at 53000 and im dreading doing the job any time soon..

Mine were bad for 2 or 3 years so its hard to say really, I think it will have been a little more than that. its honestly not a hard job, I was a real noob when I did the guide so if I can do it you can. For the sake of the damper bolt, Id get it off the car to do it, more comfortable and you can let the dog see the rabbit so to speak.

Did drivers side rear today, guide has been really good for reference. Cheers.
I've fitted some new shocks along with powerflex polybushes, can't wait to drive it. The parts that came off were shot! Just got to clean up the rusty backplate (& paint) regrease the wheel bearing & reassemble... Good Job nearly done :-)

Re: How to replace the rear arm bushes

when I did mine with the powerflex ones, they were pretty much the only one out there, but alot of people are using the strongflex and they do seem to be happy with them, especially at the price.

Re: How to replace the rear arm bushes

Does anyone know where you can source replacement bolts from for these bushes?
