Hello to one and all. I've been doing some work the the cinq lately. I lowered it 40mm and put some DJ Multi spoke 175/50/14 on from ebay. Now I've only done the springs at this point but cornering or slight bumps at speed causes the rear trye to rub on the arch.

I would imagine uprated shocks would go some way to helping this but on another thread I hear that this may make things even worse.....??

Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to solve it. Do i need to take an angle grinder to the inner rear wheel arch. ( not some I woud feel to happy doing to be fair)

I will be striping the car out at the weekend that may go some way to bringing up the ride hight a little to help but I just think that I'm just being hopeful more then anything else.

Any thoughts or idea would be much apprishiated.

Wont they need spacing out 10mm? or are they 10mm too far out already? it always confuses me lol.

If they are too far in,spacers are easiest, if they are too far out, get the arches rolled, or take all 4 to a local garage/machinist, and see if they can remove some of the material to correct the offset.
