Hi All,

First time on the forum - Have a wonderful K reg fiat panda fire and I adore my Baby.....
However, have a small problem lately tht she is badly overheating in traffic jams and I am wondering what I can do to help my poor little Patsy (her name- yes I am mad)
I want to keep my little car forever and want to keep here in tip top condish - what's the problemo?
Yes she is filled up with antifreeze before you ask - Cheers:D

Thanks Guys - Fan kicks in and coolant is topped up to max....

ANy more suggestions - perhaps she is just wearing out like me !

Hi Kim!
First, welcome to having a Panda! They are the best cars in the world and will run forever!

2nd - come into the Classic Panda Forum - we have so much to talk about that us Panda owners don't come out of our little cave as much as we should !
There are a lot of knowledgeable people there and they are very willing to help!

But to start again:
Over heating n traffic jams:

YEs - coolant level - ok you know that one
THermostat - is it jamming shut?
Air blocks - in the coolant pipes may restrict flow - like central heating radiators in a house need bleeding
Fan not working - thermo switch not operating? dodgy connection?
Head gasket starting to leak?
What happens if you turn the heating on/off?

Come into the Panda section!

see you there!
