Hi all,

Have looked at the suggested thread, but wondering it if was specific to a panda 1.1? Anyway, I am looking to service my panda through its mot. Firstly, is that a bad idea as an amateur/novice or, perhaps more modestly, become proficient at changing oil, filters, cleaning plugs etc. So, the question is...is there a tool kit out there that has everything i need called the "Everything you need to keep your panda 1.1 on the road tool kit", or is it a case of going to halfords (or similar) and collecting the kit i need, and if its the latter, what does every fiat panda 1.1 tool kit assembler need? Many thanks A

Hi

No.. there isnt 'one kit'

And halfords isnt necessarily the best place.. they do sell some good stuff

But the better stuff is a Brand bought cheaper elsewhere..
Facom. Sealey. SykesPicavant

As examples

Basic engine servicing isnt too complex.. but will require some kit

A12mm Allen Key.. or Hex bit as an example

Allen key sets usually go from 3mm to 10mm so decide what you want..a 12mm key is less than £5 delivered.

Panda section will give a mass of info :)

A Halfords advanced 150 bit socket set will give you a quality selection of the basic tools socket's ratchets torx/etorx bits (probably not used on something of this age however then youd need a few more bits like oil filter removal tool hammers some wire cutters and other basic tools come in handy
Then things like jack's and axle stand's also needed
