Twin air problem - gears not working

Hi all, i’ll try & explain as best I can. My 500 is semi automatic and when trying to reverse or drive the other day it just wouldn’t do it. The garage have put it on the diagnostic machine and cannot find a fault and have said the gear box is ok. They have said that once it’s warmed up it works and did mention it’s something to do with air flow. The problem they are finding is Fiat won’t give them any info so i may have to take it to Fiat but i know that’s gonna cost.

Anyone have this problem?

you probably have low fluid.. or a fault code that your garage cannot see - as they have too basic a Code reader.
where are you based..? an Alfa Romeo specialist will have the right tools , fluid ( and experience)
