Autoglym Clay - what to expect?

Autoglym Clay - what to expect?

I clay and polish twice a year, you have to clay, the reason you clay is to remove all contaminates if you don't your just sealing in micro fine muck, also every time you polish a washed car you've not clay'd your putting tiny scratches into the paint, this shows up as the deadly dreaded swirls, and before you say "mine doesn't have swirls or marks" go out in the dark after washing it with a torch and shine down the paint and see :D

I've found Autoglym stuff to be the best I've tried so far - out of the normal stuff that's easy to get (Meguires etc).
I'll have a look into the Zymol stuff, but whenever I've seen it mentioned online, everyone says it's overpriced and overrated - hence not having looked at it yet.

They do it in Halfords,
Zymol wash (£10) and cleaner wax (£10)
It'll bead like a crazy for months,
The high end stuff is expensive but ranges from £60 to £40,000

I'll have a look in halfords next time - that doesn't sound a bad price at all!

I'm sure my car does have swirls... But it also has small scratches and stuff :p

It's almost 11 years old now (mid 2003), so it's not perfect, but it does come up nicely after some love.

This is the magical world of Zymol cleaner wax it removes scratches and swirl marks :D

The sun came out a bit this morning, so I took a photo of yesterday's work:

Super shiny!

I've bought the Autoglym Ultra deep shine and I've used it on my mum's black mx-5 after a good claying. It really does work well on darker colours, after waxing the car looked wet! I have used super resin on it before so have a basis of comparision.

I'm yet to do it to my Stilo, as it's being fixed...again!

I have actually bought a bottle of Ultra Deep Shine to try some time. (Not yet though).
Bit of a shame Autoglym say you can't use Extra Gloss Protection on top though.

Well, I finally got around to claying the roof. (I was lazy before!)
This time, I used Ultra Deep Shine. Absolutely stunning! A tad harder to work with, but not that bad. Dusty though!
The results were sublime. I had two scratches on the roof, and now I can't even see where they were.
I'm impressed!

I can't really use it on the rest of the car, as it has a layer of EGP wax on it. How long will that last? I use Autoglym shampoo and conditioner, which supposedly doesn't take off the wax.

Should last about 12months if you use there wash in theory, but whole car wants done bout every 6months,
