I've just ordered a new 4x4 Twinair. Question is how much underbody protection is there on the new Fiats? I will be calling in to have a look underneath the one in the showroom before my new car arrives.
Various mechanics I've spoken to hate Underseal, it makes working on the car a messy job.
Reason why I'm thinking of it is I've needed to have brake lines replaced on my Nissan Patrol and my Transit based Motorhome and they have some rust, but for their age, amazingly not really a lot. Do Fiat recommend it and more importantly do long term Fiat owners recommend it?

Fiats dont rust, brake pipes should last at least 15-20 years then you just replace with copper ones

Most, if not all, cars are under sealed from new. I know all Fiats now are.

Forgot to also ask about sound deadening result of Underseal.
