Question Fuel additives necessary?

Hi all,

I'm in the US and have a 1979 Fiat Fiat Spider 2000. Are there any additives I should consider mixing in with the fuel to replicate the mix from back in the day? I haven't been running this car on the road yet, but the engine sounds good idling and revving in the driveway. I'm yet to feel the performance/power on the road.

Thanks!

Re: Fuel additives necessary?

Ive heard it argued some folk add 20(5)% of aviation fuel (AvGas 100LL?) to their regular fuel load. I would check-it-out with someone US based who has the know-how.

Try Jon Logan of Midwest124 he runs a FIAT/Lancia shop, & a personal 79 FIAT Spider 2000.
