Hi,

I have a car that is black and unfortunately my kids put their hand impressions on the roof of the car while their hands were covered with sunscreen milk. Now, I have tried to clean it many times and in different ways but you can still clearly see the hand impressions. I have no idea how to remove this as it seems it has damaged a bit the paint itself.

Does somebody has any advice ?

I think some sort of cutting compound, or an agressive polish would be your best option. I like Autoglym so Paint Renovator followed by Super Resin Polish would be my choice, however I hear Gtechniq P1 is also very good, possibly better!

I'd start with a strong APC mix (all purpose cleaner sun tan lotions contain lots of oils and such like)

a proprietary automotive fall out remover would be my next step followed by using a clay bar

if that fails to shift it move up to something like super resin polish

only then try the more aggressive polishing compounds as listed above

thank you for the answers, I will try it out and well will try it first at a non-visible spot :)
