best screen wash?

i meant dilution of the auto glym stuff. just got 3 bottles for a tenner.
I'm not at home at the mo so cant check my bottles, i got this info from the autoglym rep:

ALL SEASON QUICK CLEAR SCREENWASH
High performance, premium screenwash to keep your windscreen clear in all weather conditions. Contains a highly concentrated formulation with active ingredients for 100% efficient cleaning. Excellent for winter extremes and for general all season use. Removes road grime, traffic film and insects for smoother wiper action and safe, smear-free vision.
INSTRUCTIONS. Dilute with water according to seasonal conditions.

Dilution ˚C
Maximum dilution 1:15 -1˚C
Optimum Clean* 1:9 -3˚C
Winter* 1:4 -6˚C
Severe winter * * 1:2 -14˚C
Extreme winter* * * 1:1 -25˚C
* * * * 1:0 -45˚C

*Optimum Clean recommended for best performance in Summer and Spring/Autumn above -3˚C.

Safe on paintwork and trim. Autoglym screenwashes are compatible with each other and with other screenwash formulations.
Before winter driving clear ice from windscreen and side windows with Autoglym De-Icer and loosen frozen wiper blades. For optimum vision ensure wiper rubbers are maintained in good condition. Heavily contaminated windscreens may benefit from thorough cleaning with Autoglym Car Glass Polish.

cool. ill prob keep it at 1:4 dilution then to be "safe". cant see it really getting much colder than that.

Personally I use one of three:

Asda All Season Ready mixed (£1 a bottle as someone else said) is actually very good but stinks of alcohol
Lidl W5 (I stocked up last time they had it in) - comes in either apple or lemon (i think)
Sonax Quick clear - v expensive but probably the best. W5 is similar tho.

Others I have tried - Holts (rubish imo), Wurth (quite good and available in Texaco garages branded as havoline in a 1 shot format - I keep one in my glovebox in case of emergency), halfords premix (not v good), Comma extreme (great in cold weather but not as good at cleaning as W5 or Sonax).

The best thing about w5 and sonax is that they are extremely concentrate and so the small bottle lasts a long time.

I use W5 at the moment, before that it was the stuff we sell in the petrol station at Tescos. 99p for 250ml and it lasts forever! Can't go wrong!

I should add that to clear a build up of grease and traffic film on the screen rather than wasting expensive screenwash I find a good coating of straight GREEN (the original) fairly liquid applied in the rain (so it washes of gradually) works every time and requires minimal effort. Obviously dont drive while doing this, only do it when the car is parked up. The scented variants of VL dont work, only the original

Asda screenwash is really good actually, used it on all of my cars for the past few years.

its £4 for a 5litre bottle, and it gives an excellent streak & grime free finish and even bugs when its not burnt on the screen by heat...

i normally use it at a 1:3 dilution, so in my 4litre water bottle i normally put in 1litres of cleaner with 3litres of water...

last me about 6months even with constant winter use... (y)
