I've done so but maybe (?cos I'm female?) it all looks a bit too.....?.. when actually all I want is someone local who knows how to valet a brand new car properly to keep the paintwork looking in optimum condition.
Showed my husband this post but he thinks I'm being too far too precious about my imminent car - he's a member of the "washing-up liquid and a sponge has always been good enough for me" school.
Not sure where to go from here!

Thanks very much to both of you for helping out and hope you don't get into trouble. I hate getting involved with things that I know nothing about without some kind of recommendation or guidance.

Thank you Mark for all your advice! Last question: how soon after arrival should I get the car 'seen to' and at what sort of intervals? I've no idea of the costs as yet but obviously they will affect the frequency.
Midlife Crisis: Glad I'm not alone in my dealings with a washing-up liquid afficionado!!
If you are going for a waxed finish it should cost about £90 - £100 and need doing every 3-4months.
For a Zaino'd finish I'd recommend every 5 months at a cost of about £110.
