Chemical Guys- Butter Wet Wax

Chemical Guys- Butter Wet Wax

differance between the two?

one's hard and ones soft (really ;) ) they are both the same in terms of cleaning

but the hard one needs to be warmed up before use (in hot water probably get away with it on a hot day)

where as the Soft is soft at normal temperatures, more pliable easier to fold and is more user friendly IMO...

sorry mate just spotted this...

No its a liquid spray wax (retail name is Aqua wax) its a cross over between a QD but with Wax in it lasts about 2 months can be used on black plastic trim and on glass (avoiding windscreen)

ahh yeah, i did notice something about it on DW after i posted. Sounds like a good idea if you struggle to find the time to wax!

CYC reckon that it is an all in one product ie polish cleanser and wax, but i think i will try it on one panel by itself, and on another over srp and maybe even uds if i can be bothered. See what results i get.

Used it today, and here are the results:

Car masked up after claying:

not looking too shabby really, did need a clay with all the bug guts all over it!

SRP applied:

buffed off, then Butter Wet Wax applied (not buffed):

overall, i really like this product, seems to get better when you layer it and it is very easy to apply- much easier than a paste wax! Smells gorgeous too, like bananas!

Not sure on the beading or durability yet, but shall update in a few weeks!

I also tried it by itself over the boot lid, and I had similar results, it really is a product that needs layering! Although i do think the SRP helped the bonnet look even better- as it should do.

Product rating: 8/10

maybe more / less depending on the next few weeks!
