i removed some badges someone had put on my car before me and found that they'd stuck one on with what looks like super glue! it's left a hard, brittle glue on the paint and has pulled some of the paint off! (n):bang::yuck:
i gave the mrs's nail polsih remover a go, but no joy! the stuff's pretty stubborn!!
i've had a search through and people have said a few things, bug and tar remover, petrol, wd40, thinners!
has anyone had any luck getting rid of super glue from their paint work? this has really p*ssed me off! all i can see when i walk out my door is some super glue on my car now!
any help or ideas would be great! cheers!

cool, i think i'll drop by halfrauds on the way home and give it a go!
under the bonnet might be getting some testing! :)
fingers crossed it works, as i notice it every time i see the car now! :(

i had a good go at it when back from work last night!
i tried clay bar, AG intensive tar remover and no luck so far. although the tar remover will come in handy for tar splats that up the side! :)

i'm trying the easier stuff first, cheers for all suggestions. oh havent tried glue remover just yet, building myself up to that! :)

hot water is what the emergency services use to remove SG from people in accidents so that is more likely to work than the Ag TR

cool, i'll add that to the list! :)
definitley gonna try that first!
hot/soapy water i can do, no problem!

had anotehr go last night! hot/soapy water wasnt having any of it
whatever someones used, it's gone really hard on the paint! :bang:
the light was going a bit, but gave mrs somebeans cheap-o acetone nail plish remover a go. rubbed it on with cotton wool buds, and i think it did start t break it down a bit. i was pretty careful though! might take me some time at the weekend!
i've always got the glue remover to try as well!

if you've already pulled some paint off your gonna have to touch it up, so use some fine wet an dry and sand it gently, get a can of coloured spray mixed up at halfords for a tenner,

super glue remover and it will work have used it on a wing mirror some nice person tipped it all over came up a treat it is available from wurth they have trade stores dotted about the country
