here you go 5% dilution 250ml of elite snow foam made up with 750ml of water in my case through a HD lance
I'm no maths expert but 5% dilution of 250ml of the stuff would take more than 750ml water?

having taken my time just found my original calculation was wrong :bang:
Total Discharge from PW/lance 12 l
11l of water 1l of solution,
so....
12*1000 = 12,000ml
12,000/100 = 120ml (1%)
i want X %dilution
BH recommends 4% contact or up to normal wax finishes or up to 8% if your using auto balm..
which works out at 480ml of solution made up to 1 ltr with water in the bottle for 4% contact.
saying that the maths is fine but i still think it cleans very well at just over half that strength (250ml)

Got a reply from Elite - they are looking into what's happened and will arrange a replacement. Couldn't wash my car at my house just now anyway as the Gas people have a great big hole in my drive!

Elite sent a replacement the other day so as promised here's part 2:
First photo is of foam being applied and second shows after approx 5 minutes
As can clearly be seen the Elite lance created a thicker more clinging foam which dripped off more slowly. Car was super shiny after hosing off the foam - really impressed
I'm sure with some experimentation with the mixture the foam characteristics can be adjusted to suit.
